Virus Kills Breast Cancer in vitro
Check out this article from Medical News Today which tells us that adeno-associated virus type 2 (AAV2) may provide clues to finding a real cure for cancer.
Non-Disease Virus Kills Breast Cancer in Vitro
Questions to test your understanding:
1. What is the difference between in vitro and in vivo?
2. What is apoptosis?
3. Could this virus kill other types of cancer?
4. Why don't we start injecting this virus into cancer patients?
(A question for further research) 5. How can we generate large amounts of AAV2?
